OBIETTIVI FORMATIVI:
At the end of the course, students are expected to understand:
• How human rights violations can be addressed to international bodies for the protection of human rights.
• The entry requirements to access international Courts.
• The system of reporting human rights abuses.
CONTENUTI:
This laboratory will focus on the main international organizations/mechanisms aimed at protecting international fundamental rights.
Analyzed organizations/judicial systems:
• UN system
• The ECHR and the ECtHR
• Inter-American Court
• African system
METODOLOGIA DIDATTICA:
Lectures. Seminars and workshops. Course taught in English
